We are planning to donate blankets (লেপ) to needy old people who are most affected by the shivery cold winter. For this year we selected the rural areas of Tangail, Bangladesh. In this region of the country temperature can go below 40 °F (6 °C) and during that time even a bonfire cannot give enough warmth. Lot of people dies due to cold-related diseases such as respiratory problems, pneumonia and cough. Each blanket (লেপ) will cost approximately $15. If in this campaign we can raise $500 that will save 30 people. We are launching this project on a very small scale. Hopefully in the upcoming years we can arrange it on a much bigger scale.
