MBBS, MPhil, MSC, PhD,  Fellow-Laser Surgery ( Orthopaedic Rheumatology), Orthopaedic Rheumatologist & Laser Surgery Specialist, Member- European Medical Laser  Association, Member- International Medical Laser Association . Member- International Cartilage Regeneration Society. Dr. Mohammed Yakub Ali has more than 9 years of extensive experience in Laser Surgery on Orthopedic Rheumatology. He has successfully performed Laser Surgery namely Parcutaneous Laser Disc Decompression (PLDD) for more than 12000 Prolapsed  Disc and Core Decompression by Laser Osteoperforation for the treatment of Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Head for more than 60 Hips. Dr. Mohammed Yakub Ali  is the pioneer of Laser Surgery in Bangladesh for PLDD (Percutaneous Laser Disc Decompression) and Inventor of minimally invasive modality of treatment for Avascular Necrosis of Femoral Head(AVN)namely Core Decompression by Laser Osteoperforation in With bone marrow cell concentrate insertion.

Education

 Dr. Mohammed Yakub Ali graduated from Mymensingh Medical colleage of Bangaldesh under Dhaka University. He has completed his M.Sc as well as Ph.D programme in Rheumatology from St Petersburg Medical Academy of Post Graduate studies (MAPO/MAPS), Saint Petersburg Russia & Post Doctorial Fellowship in orthopaedic Rheumatology on Laser Surgery from Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy, Russia. 

Work Experience

Dr. Mohammed Yakub Ali is now working for the development of Laser Surgery in various medical fields specially for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis by arthroscopic Laser Nano-perforation with bone marrow cell concentrate insertion, as well as treatment of Avascular necrosis of femoral head with core decompression by Laser osteo perforation & bone marrow cell concentrate insertion. His scientific works & their results were presented in various international & national conferences and were published in many international as well as national scientific Journals. Currently his team members are introducing & providing various Laser treatments, such as non united fractured bone, Laser treatment of chronic osteomyelitis ,Enlarged Prostate, Chronic Cervicites & Cervical Erosion.  He is the founder Managing Director of Institute of Laser Surgery & Hospital Limited in Dhaka.  For Details please visit http://www.laserhospital.net/
