Dr.Md Afzal Mahfuzullah MBBS,MCPS,FCPS (Ophthalmology),Fellow-Vitreo Retina is currently working as Associate Professor(vitreo-retina) ,Department of Ophthalmology ,Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) & Consultant Ophthalmologist at Vision Eye Hospital, lalmatia, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr.Md Afzal Mahfuzullah accomplished MCPS (Member of College of Physicians and Surgeons, Bangladesh) in Ophthalmology in January 2013 & accomplished FCPS (Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons, Bangladesh) in Ophthalmology in July 2013; as well as he had 4 years professional training on Ophthalmology. He has completed sub-speciality Fellowship in Vitreo-Retina from Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital , Dhaka & Vitreo Retina Development Program from Susrut Eye Foundation & Research Centre, India. His working fields of interests are Cataract, Retina & Laser surgery in ophthalmology. Dr. Afzal won the Best Paper Award in Ophthalmological society of Bangladesh(OSB) Conference,2017.
