Dr. Rakib is a dedicated and compassionate medical professional, born on 1994, in a village of Satkhira. Rakib's early life was marked by a profound curiosity about the human body, behaviour and a deep desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
His journey towards becoming a doctor began at an early age when he joined Scout Team. He was charmed by the survival techniques of scouting. Young Rakib started maintaining a notebook for survival first aids, the use of herbs in healing. This influence shaped his career, leading him to graduate with outstanding result from the prestigious Rajshahi Medical College.
Before graduation, teen Rakib excelled himself on medicinal herbs. He gathered his knowledge from various textbooks. He had an excellent knowledge about human body. Outstanding performance on organic and inorganic chemistry made his thirst unquenched for healing and modifying human health.
At the end of 2011, Rakib’s fruitful dream earned a milestone. He positioned himself in National Merit List and got admitted at renowned Rajshahi Medical College. Dr Rakib passed his Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae (MBBS) exam on first attempt on January, 2017. His satisfactory academic performance and dedication added various achievements. He achieved Dean Recommendation Certificate from the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, University of Rajshahi. He became a Licentiate Physician by BMDC on 2018.
During his Rotatory Internship Program, Dr Rakib’s performance and dedication were extraordinary and charmed his professors of RMCH. He was well known as Dr M R I. His unwavering commitment to patient care and his empathetic nature quickly set him apart as a remarkable physician.
After graduation, he joined as IMO, Department of Surgery, Enam Medical College Hospital. But his unquenched thirst for education moved him to the noble profession of teaching medical undergraduates of Gazi Medical College, Khulna. Soon he became familiar among the future doctors. Dr Rakib also served as EMO, Gazi Medical College Hospital with prestige. His well-behaved, patient empathetic manner was attracted by the patients and hospital staffs. He was successful creating positive impact among patients with disease healing, lifestyle modification and disease prevention. During his duty at Gazi Medical College Hospital, he demonstrated exceptional skill in diagnosing complex cases and implementing innovative treatment plans. His ability to connect with patients on a personal level, providing comfort and support during their most challenging times, earned his deep respect from both colleagues and patients.
Then Dr Rakib moved in the capital city Dhaka. Now he is serving at the well-organized Popular Medical College, Dhanmondi.
He completed CCD course on Diabetology from BIRDEM with excellence. This made Dr Rakib enriched with expertise knowledge on Diabetes.
He attended various training, seminars and symposiums from different renowned organizations like Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, Bangladesh Breast Feeding Foundation, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, BPMPA, BPMCA etc.
Apart from academic performance, Dr Rakib has an excellence impact on extracurricular activities. He has achieved various awards, medals, certificates and appreciation from time to time for his outstanding performance in various sports. For his managing ability, he became-
